Fortuna House Hotel - Blackpool

the room for kids bunk beds. it met expectations.

Staff were pleasant, room was neat with 2 double beds. The location of the hotel was central, just off Blackpool during the tourist season. The place was quite close to Harrold Rigbys, where you can have dinner.

Our family enjoyed a pleasant stay, as the hotel was just a few steps from the vibrant promenade and easily walkable to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, making our weekend explorations super convenient and filled with fun memories.

Bathrooms need immediate attention!!! Shower apparatus not user-friendly, causing stress while managing kids. Noise insulation completely lacking. Outdated furnishings and decor should be upgraded for a better experience.

We had a lovely visit to the Blackpool Grand Theatre, enjoying a dazzling show. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the seafront, and our family quadruple room was spacious enough for my kids and father, which we appreciated.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel could use better soundproofing between rooms for a better family experience.

All fine, but decor issues

The location sits conveniently close to attractions.

Rooms display clear signs of neglect with peeling wallpaper and damp issues throughout. The shower in the bathroom was unserviceable, which compounded the discomfort of a cramped space without proper ventilation. An overwhelming smell of smoke infiltrated the room, significantly detracting from the overall experience. Noisy neighbors. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel lacks the updates it desperately needs.

We had a lovely stay with a cozy triple room, and the breakfast was unbeatable, especially the unlimited toast! The friendly atmosphere and cleanliness made it a favorite.

Strongly recommend for a fleeting pause

Cozy room, friendly host, with a comfortable bed and complimentary refreshments including a kettle, made our stay pleasant, all within a 20-minute walk to the Pleasure Beach.

Everything was amazing.

It was just a good match for a mini-break over the weekend in Blackpool and great for the money. The bed was comfortable, which helped us rest after our long days out. Make sure to ask about parking as it can be tight during busy seasons.

We had a fantastic six-night stay where the kids really enjoyed the pool and the cozy decor made our family feel at home. There were games and a lounge area to chill out in, which was perfect after a long day of exploring. The only little downer was that the Wi-Fi signal could have been stronger, but we still had a blast! 😊

The room was larger than expected with super comfy beds, and it was clean throughout. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the tram and south pier.

A clean and well-maintained space with comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and greeted us warmly upon arrival. The front door was unexpectedly locked upon our return around 1:30 AM, necessitating a staff wake-up. Minor issues included a lack of a lock on the bathroom door for privacy and some noise from adjacent rooms during the night.

Super helpful staff!

The room was okay, but the owner was super polite and even helped find my lost ring. Breakfast was simple but good for what we paid-just plain toast and cereal, tho, nothing fancy. A bit noisy at night, but overall, we were happy here.
